For the girls..

Tips to surviving a trip to Pudu Market(or any other mass frequented open market) in your sunday church-going, high heels wearing outfit:

1)Be prepared for obnoxious leers and stares. (its a public place so thats basically all they can do...)

2)Ignore all sorts of leers,jeers, catcalls, whistles and shouts of "leng lui!!"

3)Do not in whatever circumstance make eye-contact with any of the store keepers( esp young males!!)...

4)Always look at where/what you're stepping on, constantly looking at the ground will avoid you droppping into and big puddles of suspicious liquid. ( keeping you eyes towards the ground is a good way of dissuading unwanted stares and calls..)

5)Carry bags of groceries as it helps to blend in a lil...(im assuming that you're at the market to buy groceries of you're accompanying someone who is shopping...if not i dont know what you're doing there in you sunday church going outfit..)

6)Don't wear shades, short skirts or tight sleeveless tops.

7)Lastly, Don't ever go to the market again in nice church going clothes. If need be, wear a loose shirt and jeans or loose knee length shorts if its too hot.. and no makeup!! =)
